Ian is an Associate Attorney with Koprince Law LLC. Ian’s practice focuses on federal government contract law. Ian also writes about government contracting on SmallGovCon.
Prior to joining Koprince Law, Ian worked for Legal Services for Students at the University of Kansas where he provided low cost student focused legal assistance. He also participated in a clinic where he aided the Kansas Department of Health and Environment in preparing administrative hearing materials and drafting environmental enforcement actions. In addition to his legal degree, Ian holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and frequently draws on this background to understand the technical nuances of government solicitations.
Ian is also no stranger to the needs of small businesses. Before attending law school, Ian worked at Diamond Graphics, Inc., a small printer in Ramsey, Minnesota. Ian spent time both on the factory floor and in the front office, where he served as the technical lead on a software integration project. From these experiences, Ian has come to understand the day to day challenges that face a growing small business.
Away from the office, Ian enjoys playing tabletop board games. A NASCAR fan, Ian also enjoys being a short drive away from Kansas Speedway. Born in Minnesota, Ian has come to appreciate mild Kansas winters, but still maintains the Vikings will return to the Super Bowl sometime soon.
Ian can be reached by telephone at (785) 200-8919 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
